Todos conhecemos a famosa 'mala preta com algemas' dos filmes típicos e indutores de bocejos sobre o presidente dos EUA e uma qualquer crise em que anda tudo aos gritos histéricos.



Diz a famosa Wikipedia que 'The Nuclear Football, otherwise known as the President's Emergency Satchel, and sometimes also referred to as The Button, is a specially-outfitted, black-colored briefcase used by the President of the United States of America to authorize the use of nuclear weapons. Adopted to permit the President to make a nuclear attack order while away from fixed command centers, such as the White House Situation Room, it functions as a mobile node in the strategic defense system of the United States. While exact details about the Football are highly classified, several sources have provided information regarding the bag, its contents, and operation'.



Na parte de 'trivia', lê-se por exemplo que:

Conclui-se que embora a 'política antinuclear americana' relativamente à Rússia, Ásia e Médio Oriente possa ser positiva, é altamente contraditória.

Sobretudo quando no Iraque nunca se encontraram as famosas armas de destruição maciça [a única destruição maciça tem sido do próprio Iraque e dos soldados americanos, ingleses, etc., que para lá vão].

E quando se sabe que os EUA não só têm armas nucleares, como até já as usaram.
