Late night fire drill

Tive um esta semana. E com algumas réplicas antes do sol nascer.

Senti-me pois como uma vítima de Chas Tenenbaum:

A child prodigy and genius in international finance, Chas became rich as a child for breeding "Dalmatian mice" and buying real estate. His strained relationship with father Royal arguably began with his father's intentionally shooting him in the hand with a BB gun as a child, and continued when Royal stole bonds from Chas's safe deposit box when he was 14. Chas subsequently sued his father twice and had him disbarred. Their relationship becomes more tenuous when Royal lies to the family about having terminal cancer in order to get back into their good graces.

Chas has become obsessed with the safety of his sons Ari and Uzi after the death of his wife in a plane crash. Deeply depressed and unsatisfied with their performance in a late night fire drill, Chas moves the family back into his childhood home. On the day of his mother's wedding, the Tenenbaums' longtime neighbor Eli Cash runs over Chas's dog Buckley, killing him. At the scene of the accident, his father obtains a new dog for Chas and his sons, a Dalmatian named Spark Plug. When his father later suffers a heart attack, Chas is the only witness to his father's death on the ambulance. By the end of the film, he has forgiven his father.

Recordam-se certamente da cena de late fire drill em que Chas arrasta os dois filhos da cama, kitadíssimo, desde logo com o inseparável fato de treino encarnado...

Se não se recordam, corram a rever o filme. Oucaso não o tenham visto.
